Florence Griswold Museum
Located on an 11-acre site, the Florence Griswold Museum is known as the Home of American Impressionism. High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc.
High Hopes is one of the oldest and largest therapeutic riding centers in the United States, operating since 1974 and accredited by NARHA (formerly the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) since 1979. High Hopes primarily serves the citizens of Southeastern Connecticut, delivering over 8,200 horsemanship lessons per year to children and adults with disabilities. Assisted by over 590 volunteers and a herd of 24 horses specifically trained for therapeutic riding, High Hopes is committed to providing the highest quality of services to the community. Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts
Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts continues the academic tradition of figurative and representational fine art while preparing students for a lifetime of contemporary creative practice.
The College offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing, Illustration, Painting, and Sculpture (full- and part-time study); Certificates in Painting and Sculpture; a Post-Baccalaureate program; Continuing Education for adults; and a Pre-College Program for students aged 15-18. Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the National Association of the Schools of Art and Design, and the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.

The Lymes' Youth Service Bureau, a private, non-profit agency, is dedicated to promoting the positive development of children and families in the towns of Lyme and Old Lyme. Our purpose, as established in 1978, was then and is still to: identify and satisfy unmet youth needs, provide professional guidance designed to promote harmonious family and interpersonal relationships and healthy development, arrange for and provide counseling, educate, encourage and aid the community to recognize its responsibility and role in the alleviation and solution of social problems involving youth, and provide activities and services to youth to aid in their personal growth.

Old Lyme Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library
Established as a free public library in 1897, the building construction was funded by the generous gift of Charles H. Ludington in honor of his mother-in-law. Originally organized and operated by the Ladies Library Association, their funds were merged with the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Trust to create the present library association. Subsequent additions were added to the building to meet the developing needs of a growing community.
The library offers popular reading collections and media, wireless Internet access, a Learning & Homework Center for children, monthly educational and cultural programs for all ages and a community meeting room for local clubs and organizations.

Town of Old Lyme
