  • Chadwick - The Orange Bridge

    5-7 pm: Pre-Concert Open House

    Before the concert enjoy free admission to the special exhibition Lyme in Mind: The Clement C. Moore Collection.

    Be the first to see Patrick Dougherty's "stickwork" creation. This installation crafted just for the Museum will be unveiled this evening.

    Visit Going Places! When Getting There is Half the Fun, a children's art contest sponsored by Reynolds’ Garage and Marine, Inc. Winners announced at the beginning of the concert.

  • Dinners at the Farm

    6-8 pm: Dinners at the Farm

    Bring a picnic dinner or let Dinners at the Farm do the work. A delicious, all-local meal served from their vintage "chuckwagon." Reserve your dinner at www.DinnersAtTheFarm.com.

  • Dan Stevens

    7-9 pm: Free Concert by Dan Stevens and the Fiery Band

    In the acoustic fingerstyle tradition, Dan Stevens and the Fiery Band perform a mix of Americana including blues, early jazz, swing, and roots country featuring lots of "bottleneck slide" played on authentic vintage guitars. You'll be toe tappin', head bobbin' and singin' along with this group! Sponsored by Reynolds' Garage and Marine Inc.

    Dinners at the Farm serve delicious, all-local breakfast and lunch in an outdoor cafe overlooking the  river.

  • Market en plein air

    9am - 3pm: Market En Plein Air

    Connecticut-grown flowers, fruits, vegetables, breads, fine cheeses, herbs and specialty foods in a setting modeled after outdoor markets in French villages. Come see who's new and visit old favorites.

  • Handcrafted work by Jennifer Johnson

    9am - 3pm: Crafted-by-Hand in Connecticut: An Artisan Fair

    New this year! Featured Connecticut artisans include noted Old Saybrook glass artist Mundy Hepburn and Lisbon artist Jennifer Johnson, who works in mixed media to create garden sculptures, mosaics, and jewelry.

  • 10am - 1pm: D.G. Bones Dog Show

    Enter your dog in one of the many categories to win. Treats given to every contestant.

  • Child participating in Hands-On, Minds-On

    10am - 3pm: Hands-On, Minds-On Education Area

    Participate in a variety of free hands-on creative projects provided by local cultural organizations.

    • Be Creative! - provided by the Old Lyme PGN Library

      Bringing the summer reading theme to the festival, Old Lyme PGN Library staff will be creating handmade notebooks of everyday recycled craft materials with children ages 5 and older.

    • Make Your Own Rope - provided by the Connecticut River Museum

      Try your hand at a trade from the early days of sailing ships! The Connecticut River Museum's table-top rope works lets you make your own rope and bring it home as a special souvenir. It's easy and fun for the whole family.

    • Bubble Cups: An Eco-friendly Craft - provided by the Lymes' Youth Service Bureau

      Hands-on fun that will produce an incredibly long stream of Bubble Noodles! Fun for all ages.

  • 10am - 3pm: Art Contest

    Visit Going Places! When Getting There is Half the Fun, a children's art contest sponsored by Reynolds' Garage and Marine, Inc.

  • 10am - 3pm: Landscape Center Open House

    Tour the Museum's newly restored historic barn, the Rafal Landscape Center. View an exhibit on the landscape of Lyme and talk to members of the Museum's "Garden Gang."

  • Jacques Pepin

    10am - 5pm: Reduced Admission to Gallery and Historic House

    Enjoy special reduced admission ($5) to the Museum all day . Including the historic Florence Griswold House and the special exhibition Lyme in Mind: The Clement C. Moore Collection. Don’t miss Patrick Dougherty's "stickwork" creation, a site-specific installation crafted just for the Museum.

  • 11am-3pm: Book Signing by Jacques Pépin

    Join one of America's best-known chefs, Jacques Pépin in Marshfield House for a signing of his latest book Jacques Pépin: More Fast Food My Way.

    9am - 3pm: Anything Goes Art Sale and Summer Painting & Sculpture Exhibition

    Don't miss two wonderful exhibitions that are chock full of affordable paintings and sculpture.

  • Artists and Animals at the Lyme Art Association

    9am - 3pm: Paperback Book Sale: Cheaper by the Dozen

    All books are 50¢ each or 12 for $5.00. Organized by the Friends of the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library.

  • 10am - 2pm: Artists and Animals!

    Using farm animals as models, professional artists work on the lawn to capture their funny farm friends on paper. Drawing supplies available for you to join in.

  • 10am - 3pm: Old Lyme Volunteer Fire Department

    The firemen will be selling their award-winning chili and hot dogs as well as beverages for their annual fundraiser!
